Part-Time Customer Support Administrator – Swindon
Service Type: Permanent | Hours: Part-Time (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:45am – 5:00pm with a 45-minute lunch break) Location: Swindon Salary: Dependent on experience
Our client in Swindon is seeking a Part-Time Customer Support Administrator to join their small, dynamic Customer Support Team.
About the Role
As a Customer Support Administrator, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers and Field Sales, handling enquiries, processing orders, and delivering outstanding support. This role demands strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities to ensure a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Processing customer orders via email and phone with speed and accuracy
- Providing product support, solving issues, and enhancing customer experience
- Resolving customer enquiries efficiently and professionally
- Coordination with departments to maintain strong working relationships
- Keeping customer accounts up-to-date and ensuring clean record-keeping
- Handling complex customer complaints, finding resolutions, and communicating them effectively
- Following up on outstanding payments and purchase orders to avoid delays in order fulfilment
- Meeting KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and contributing to team performance targets

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will exhibit:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Multitasking and organisational skills to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in computer systems, including:
- CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools
- Microsoft Office (Outlook and others)
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in products and services
- Problem-solving mindset to find effective solutions
