What You Will Do
As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll:
- Review and process compensation claims for customers experiencing delays of 15+ minutes
- Navigate multiple systems to verify claims, check journey data, and validate tickets
- Communicate professionally with customers (via email and letters) and colleagues
- Compose clear, well-structured emails addressing customer claims
- Stay updated on policy briefings to adapt to an evolving work environment
- provide assistance for vulnerable customers/travellers, ensuring inclusivity
- Maintain precise, detail-oriented processing to minimise errors
Your Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
- System navigation skills for data checks and administrative tasks
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Clear, professional email writing for customer correspondence
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast-moving operations
- High attention to detail, combined with reliable time management

Bonus Points if You Have
✔ Experience in customer service or a support-related field ✔ Familiarity with delay compensation processes and customer claims ✔ Administrative/data entry experience (or customer support experience) ✔ Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment ✔ Proven track record of maintaining accuracy in high-detail tasks
Working Arrangements
- Standard hourly rate of £12.63 (perpetual salary: £26,520 p.a.)
- Flexible schedule: 40 hours/week, distributed Mon–Sun, 7am–8pm.
