Customer Support Advisor (Hybrid Role)
We are recruiting a Customer Support Advisor to join a successful and growing company based in St Albans.

About the Role
As a Customer Support Advisor, you will:
- Respond to all incoming client queries via live chat, telephone, or email
- Take full ownership of queries and guide them to a resolution.
Important Note: This role is fully office-based for the first six months, transitioning to a hybrid model after training:
- 3 days in-office
- 2 days working from home
Salary & Benefits
| Benefit | Details |

| Salary | £25,000 – £30,000 (dependent on experience) |
| Hours | Rotating schedule across 7 days, including evenings and weekends |
| Shift details: | |
| Earliest Start | 7:30am |
| Early Shift | 7:30am – 4pm |
| Mid Shift | 11:30am – 8pm |
| Late Shift | 1:30pm – 10pm |
| Alternating Weekends | One on-call week, followed by one off |
| Holidays | 25 days (increasing to 30 days after 2 years) |
| Pension | Contributory pension scheme |
| Insurance | Life insurance (4x salary) and private medical insurance |

Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include:
- Responding to customer queries efficiently and professionally via:
- Telephone
- Live chat
- Developing proficiency in product knowledge, including pricing and business rules
- Taking full ownership of queries to ensure stock resolution
- Creating automation and self-service help tools to streamline customer support and future-proof business operations
- Answering inbound calls within specified service levels, adhering to internal processes
- Supporting with new account openings
- Contributing to product and service improvements by gathering and reporting direct customer feedback

Requirements
The employer is seeking candidates with:
- Experience in an office-based Customer Service role, with a strong emphasis on:
- Being timely and responsive
- Good sporting interest and current knowledge of major sports and events
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with commercial and financial awareness
- Availability to work evenings and weekends to cover live sporting events (including Bank Holidays), as this team operates 7 days a week
