Customer Support and Administration Assistant

Customer Support and Administration Assistant – Renewable Energy Sector

Are you passionate about accelerating the UK’s transition to clean energy? Installio is looking for a driven and organised Customer Support and Administration Assistant to join our growing team, helping us deliver high-quality, compliant, and efficient renewable energy systems across the country.

This is a varied administrative role supporting multiple functions in Installio. You’ll help ensure our renewable energy installations run smoothly by providing administrative support.

The ideal candidate thrives in an environment requiring organisation, problem-solving, and teamwork, ensuring a seamless customer experience from booking to completion.


Responsibilities

Operations Support

  • Update systems and ensure job information is accurate
  • Prepare and maintain documentation and records
  • Ensure invoicing remains accurate and up to date

Customer Support

  • Serve as the friendly first point of contact for customers via:
    • Phone
    • Email
    • Intercom
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide installation updates
  • Help manage customer expectations throughout the installation journey
  • Escalate complex issues to the Operations Manager where necessary

Office Administration

  • Provide day-to-day frontline administrative support
  • Manage calendars, meetings, and correspondence
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and business documentation
  • Organise office administration, filing, and company records
  • Support wider business projects and administrative tasks as required

Requirements

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in an office administration, administrative support, operations support, or customer service role (ideally within energy, renewables, or a similar industry)
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • P polished written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and friendly approach
  • A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
  • The ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team
  • An interest in renewable energy installations (a plus, but not essential)
