Salary £27,590 – £35,163 per annum
Contract Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

As a Customer Support Assistant, you will deliver a professional, welcoming, and efficient front-of-house service and maintain the highest standards of administration for the Care Home using the correct systems and ways of working.
This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, excellent customer service, and effective support to the Home Manager and wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional, efficient, and friendly front-of-house service to residents, relatives, and visitors.
- Maintain accurate administrative records and ensure smooth reception, bookings, and information management.
- Offer prompt and effective support to the Home Manager and staff team.
- Process and update residence contracts and related paperwork with attention to detail.
- Use Bupa’s digital systems to maintain records, schedule appointments, and manage administrative tasks.
- Ensure the reception area is welcoming, clean, and Organised at all times.
- Handle complex and sensitive enquiries with empathy and discretion.
- Work as part of a team to deliver consistent and high-quality care support services.

Skills & Experience Needed

Desirable:
- Experience in customer service, reception, or administrative roles.

Experience with:
- Payroll administration and employee-related record-keeping.
- Admin procedures, conflict resolution, and document handling.
- Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).

Essential:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, residents, and external contacts.
- Exceptional telephone manner and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a varied workload under pressure.
- Flexibility, initiative, self-motivation, and adaptability.
- Experience working in a fast-paced or caring environment would be beneficial.
