Job Description: Customer Support Assistant
Oakcroft House Care Home Oakcroft Road, West Byfleet, Surrey KT14 6JG Salary: £27,590 – £35,163 Hours: Permanent 37.5 hours per week We make health happen

About the Role
As a Customer Support Assistant, you will deliver a professional, welcoming, and efficient front-of-house service and uphold the highest standards of administration for the Care Home while adhering to correct systems and processes. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, excellent customer service, and effective team support to the Home Manager and wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a welcoming and efficient front-of-house service
- Ensure compliance with administrative standards and Care Home protocols
- Support the smooth operation of day-to-day home activities
- Assist management and staff with administrative tasks
- Provide strong, person-centred support to residents, visitors, and colleagues
Requirements
Desirable experience or skills include:
- Experience in customer service, reception, or administrative roles
- Payroll administration and employee record management
- Proficiency in administrative processes and procedures
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, telephone-based)
- Attention to detail
- Independence, flexibility, and initiative
- Time management and ability to prioritise tasks
- Courteous telephone manner with excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work weekends if required
