About The Company

Places for People is the UK's leading social enterprise dedicated to creating inclusive, thriving communities for both customers and employees. As an organization that values people over numbers, we prioritize building supportive environments where individuals can grow and succeed. Our commitment to community spirit, respect, and doing the right thing underpins everything we do. With a focus on social impact, we aim to develop sustainable and accessible housing solutions, fostering independence and well-being for vulnerable populations. Our culture emphasizes enthusiasm, motivation, and a shared dedication to making a positive difference in society.

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Support Coordinator to join our team on a Fixed Term Contract basis. This role involves supporting customers across our schemes, particularly those with diverse needs, ensuring the continued, safe, and supportive provision of accommodation. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, internal teams, and external agencies to deliver comprehensive support and housing management services. You will be responsible for maintaining the scheme’s safety and operational standards, including conducting risk assessments and health and safety checks. Your role will also include promoting independence, community integration, and personal development for our customers.

Within this position, you will support individuals with autism living in self-contained flats, helping them achieve personal goals and participate in activities such as shopping trips, arts and crafts, and outings. Providing assistance with appointments and daily routines will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will manage administrative tasks, including updating support plans and correspondence, and collaborate with colleagues, families, and professionals to ensure a holistic approach to customer care. The role operates on a seven-day rota, which includes some night shifts, for which an additional sleep allowance is provided.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
