About The Role

At Sulzer Ellon, you'll be part of one of our flagship UK service centres and a recognised centre of excellence for rotating equipment services. With more than 100 skilled professionals on site, we deliver world-class repair, maintenance and upgrade solutions for critical equipment across the energy, power generation and industrial sectors.

Specialising in pumps, turbines, compressors and other rotating machinery, our team works alongside some of the world's leading operators to maximise reliability, improve performance and extend equipment life. Whether supporting major turnaround projects, complex overhauls or innovative upgrade programmes, you'll play a key role in delivering engineering solutions that keep critical industries running safely and efficiently.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • As a Customer Support Engineer, you’ll be the vital link between our clients and our operations team.
  • You’ll manage projects from order to delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and commercial targets are met.
  • Own client relationships – keep them informed, anticipate needs, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Coordinate complex projects – liaise with technical, quality, and production teams to keep everything on track.
  • Drive continuous improvement – embrace lean principles and help us stay ahead in safety, quality, and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong technical knowledge of rotating machinery and systems.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commercial awareness and experience in a similar role.
  • Ideally, an HNC or equivalent in engineering.
