Customer Support Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer

CRITICAL AI Specialist Opportunity – Project-Based Testing & Evaluation Mindrift – Remote (English Proficency Requirement)

About the Role Mindrift connects specialists with AI task testing opportunities, focusing on evaluating AI for leading tech companies. This is not permanent employment—projects are project-based and flexible.


Opportunity Scope

AI system contributors will design, test, and evaluate conversational task scenarios with.Byte*—including those that include clear decision-making criteria.*

Key tasks may include but are not limited to:

  • Customer Service Models in Regulated contexts
    • Design fee reconciliation scenarios valid fee structure accuracy, distinguishing exceptional claims from fraudulent ones.
  • Multichannel Customer Interactions
    • Develop design trouיתיםАвтоплат and payment setups containing deliberate errors (incorrect payee, insufficient funds policies, misdated drafts, missing confirmation steps).
  • Fraud Prevention & Response Prototyping
    • Craft authentication and transactional escalation workflows to test urgency resolution, fraud detection, card replacement, and clean handoff to dispute resolution teams.
  • Onboarding & Retention Prototyping
    • Create scenarios that test customer eligibility for retention offers while flagging pending transactions and ensuring bounded rationale in responses that refuse inappropriate claim coverage.
  • Response Engagement Grading
    • Evaluate AI responses for factual accuracy, empathy under stress, and conversation tone alignment (e.g., voice- vs. chatbot-optimized, clarity without predatory ambiguity).

Ideal Candidate Profile

Core Attributes

Known for prioritizing judgment over rigid algorithms, contributing to match capabilities against the complexity of rules in fiscal, banking, and insurance industry terrains.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in related areas: Administration, Business, Economics, Finance, Communications, Psychology, or equivalent formal methods.

  • 2+ years within:

    • customer service
    • banking
    • retail
  • Current/previously supervised contexts:

    • Customer support, financial roles (banking, insurance)or adjacent sectors.
  • How to read complex rulebooks – Inherent ability to interpret financial policies and route accurately.

  • Bonus credentials:

    • Comprised experience as a QA analyst, call-center trainer, or lax-key conversation designer.
  • C1+ English proficiency (i.e., easy communication of details from paperwork or customer interactions, with no translation burden).

Workflow
