The Opportunity

At Mindrift, each project involves unique tasks and may include:

  • Designing and evaluating fee inquiry and statement clarification scenarios

    • Ensuring fee amounts match disclosed schedules
    • Distinguishing between descriptor-mapping questions and real fraud claims
  • Creating autopay and payment setup scenarios with deliberate traps

    • Typos in payee names
    • Insufficient-funds policies and incorrect draft dates
    • Missing confirmation steps as part of validations
  • Building card replacement and fraud claim scenarios

    • Testing urgency to block fraudulent transactions
    • Evaluating fraud-signal recognition and intake scripting
    • Completing clean handoffs to the disputes team

    • Testing eligibility logic for retention offers

Ideal Candidates

This role is best suited for individuals with a background in customer service, banking, or financial services, who are open to part-time and non-permanent work.

  • Educational Background Preference for a degree in:

    • Finance
    • Business Administration
    • Economics
    • Communications
    • Psychology
    • Marketing (or related fields)
  • Experience Required

    • 2+ years in roles related to customer service, banking, retail, or financial services
    • Prior roles in customer service & support, banking & financial services, or adjacent experience
    • Strong background in routing judgment to determine whether queries fall within the scope of service
    • Experience interpretation of fee schedules or policy documentation to advise correct actions
    • QA Analyst, call-center trainer, or conversation designer background is highly beneficial

Project Time Investment

Compensation

Contributors on this project may earn up to $60 per hour equivalent, contingent on expertise, complexity of tasks, and flow of participation.
