Position Overview
We are looking for a Customer Service Training Specialist to design and deliver tailored training programs for internal and external customers at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This role focuses on developing and implementing learning solutions for complex products like electron microscopy and analytical instruments, ensuring learners grasp critical technical knowledge confidently.
You will collaborate closely with the technical training department, delivering engaging and insightful training across diverse audiences including:
- Field Service Engineers
- R&D specialists
- Operations Engineers
- External customers
By combining classroom instruction, hands-on practice, remote learning, and e-learning development, you’ll simplify sophisticated technical content, making it accessible and applicable.
Additionally, you’ll interface with multiple teams across the organization, ensuring seamless alignment between training, tech support, R&D, and cross-functional stakeholders like Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Management.
Responsibilities

| Experience Customization | Employ Thermo Fisher’s skills-passport system to track and personalize learning paths for participants at all expertise levels, from beginners to advanced specialists |
| Knowledge Transfer | Communicate complex concepts clearly, with the ability to translate technical jargon into practical, actionable insights |
| Problem Solving & Innovation | Develop creative, low-friction learning solutions and training methodologies |
| Team Collaboration | Partner with Global Tech Support, Product Development, and Operations to refine and enhance training approaches |
| Performance Tracking | Monitor learner progress, identify knowledge gaps, and revise training modules accordingly |

Requirements
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Advanced Degree with 3 years of applicable experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years in related subject areas

Technical Expertise
- Deep understanding of instrumentation systems, including electron microscopy
