Payroll Customer Support Advisor

£ – Hourly Rate Negotiable (DoE) Remote (UK) | Initial Contract: 4 Weeks


About the Role

We are seeking a Payroll Customer Support Advisor to join a growing organisation. This is a customer-focused role, where you will provide first-line support to clients by investigating and resolving payroll queries, correcting calculation errors, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

You will be supporting a small portfolio of customers whose payroll has been impacted, working closely with internal teams to resolve issues accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support to clients regarding payroll-related queries
  • Investigate and resolve calculation errors with precision
  • Ensure clear and professional communication with customers
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll-related support interactions

Requirements

  • Previous experience in payroll support, payroll administration, or customer service in a payroll environment is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate payroll queries while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • System experience is not mandatory, but a good understanding of payroll processes is advantageous
  • Ability to work remotely in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
