Customer Team Leader

Customer Team Leader Location: School Road, Conon Bridge, Highlands, IV7 8AF

Pay & Contract £14.48 per hour 25 hours per week (permanent, part-time contract)

Working Pattern A mix of opening, closing, and mid-day shifts with flexibility across the week, including:

  • At least 2 evening shifts per week (e.g. Fridays after 6pm)
  • 1 weekend shift per month (either Saturdays or Sundays)

You’ll be on standby for flexibility, and availability will be discussed at interview. Apply easily via mobile assessments—no CV needed.


About the Role Join Co-op as a Customer Team Leader and lead a small team in a fast-paced store, ensuring seamless operation to serve local communities. Responsibilities include managing inventory, leading sales, and supporting in-store services like the post office, bakery, or home delivery operations.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the store on a day-to-day basis by leading shifts and operations
  • Coach and motivate your team to deliver high service standards and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot tasks on the shop floor, from tills to stock management
  • Ensure store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes
  • Engage with the community and promote Co-op membership

Requirements

  • Ideally skilled in retail, merchandising, or team management (essential experience not required)
