Customer Team Leader
Location: 1 Bence Court, Archers Gate; Archers Way, Amesbury, SP4 7XP
Pay: £14.48 per hour
Contract:
- 16–20 hours per week
- Permanent (part-time)
- Regular overtime
- Mix of Friday–Sunday, including evenings

About the Role
Join the Co-op as a Customer Team Leader and progress towards managing your own store.
This role involves leading a small team in a lively Community Co-op store, supporting essential services such as:
- In-store post office operations
- Bakery services
- Online orders and home delivery
- Direct customer support
Your impact matters—you’ll stock shelves, drive sales, and help provide local people with better choices and new services.
We also know you well—building community loyalty through regular customer interactions. Additionally, your leadership will champion Co-op membership and support national/local charity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations: Lead the team in-store and ensure customer satisfaction during each shift.
- Engage and inspire: Motivate colleagues through coaching, fostering a positive and efficient work ethos.
- Assist hands-on: Work at tills,ведена merchandise work on the floor, and contribute to store performance.
- Imports retail excellence: Ensure accurate stock levels, merchandising, and operational processes.
- Drive expansion: Enhance corporate growth through community engagement and membership outreach.
Requirements
The Co-op aims to remove barriers, so we only ask for:
✅ Age: Must be 18+ (for age-related sales authorisation). ✅ Leadership attitude: Passion for customer service and a clear ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal (but not essential):
- Retail or supervisory experience
- Merchandising knowledge
- Effective team coordination skills
