About the Role

Join us as a Customer Team Leader and take the next step toward managing your own store.

As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store, this could involve working in our post office, bakery, or supporting online services and home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.


What You’ll Do

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Owning the day-to-day running of the store, including leading the team on each shift.
  • Motivating, coaching, and supporting your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
  • Working hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
  • Supporting store performance through:
    • Merchandising and stock accuracy.
    • Ensuring HR processes are followed effectively.
  • Championing Co-op through:
    • Community engagement.
    • Supporting membership growth.

What You’ll Bring

Location & Contract

📍 11 Woodsend Road, Flixton, Manchester, M41 8QY 💰 £14.48 per hour ⏰ 16 hours/week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part-time. 🔄 Flexible shifts:

  • Opening, closing, and mid-day shifts.
  • At least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift, including:
    • Friday after 6pm.
    • Saturday or Sunday.
  • Availability discussed further at interview.
