Customer Team Leader
Customer Team Leader
Location: 179-185 Ailsea Court, Chesterton Road, Cambridge, CB4 1AF
Pay: £14.48 per hour Contract: 30 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part-time
Working pattern: Mix of opening, closing, and mid-day shifts with flexibility across the week, including:
- At least 2 evening shifts (e.g., Friday after 6pm)
- 1 weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday)

About the Role
You’ll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, supporting essential services like our post office, bakery, online orders, or home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you’ll play a key role in making life easier for customers and colleagues alike.

What You’ll Do
As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll:
- Lead daily operations: Own the day-to-day running of the store, coaching team members.
- Drive team performance: Motivate your team to deliver exceptional service and operational efficiency.
- Work on the shop floor: Assist with till duties, stock management, and merchandising.
- Boost store success: Focus on HR processes, stock accuracy, and sales performance.
- Engage with the community: Champion membership growth and charity partnerships.
What You’ll Bring
