Location: 83/85 Wallasey Village, Wallasey, CH45 3LF Pay: £13.99 per hour Contract: 24 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time Working Pattern: Varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview

You must be aged 18 or over to be a Customer Team Leader at Co-op, as you’ll need to authorise age-related sales.
We’re looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op.

As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll be part of a friendly team that’s dedicated to helping our customers. We’ll look to you to help lead the store team – coaching and supervising our Customer Team Members and deputising for the Store Manager, while also delivering great customer service and performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

What You'll Do
- Friendly and thoughtful service – you’ll give friendly, welcoming, easy, helpful and thoughtful service every day, often taking ownership for managing the store and handling challenging situations
- Develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone's voice is valued and respected
- Make sure that the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational
- Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to make shopping a great experience for our customers
- Support your store manager by deputising when they’re not working and delivering a variety of HR processes
- Lead the way when introducing new products and services in your store – work closely with your team to implement change and encourage open and honest feedback
- Build relationships and get involved in your local community, supporting your Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan
