Customer Team Member Location: High Street, Yatton, BS49 4EG
- Hourly Rate: £13.04 per hour
- Contract: Permanent, part-time (16 hours per week + regular overtime)
- Working Pattern: Closing shifts from mid-afternoon to late evening, including weekends (e.g., Friday after 6pm, Saturday, or Sunday).
About the Role
Co-op is searching for Customer Team Members to deliver friendly, essential services in a High Street Yatton store.
This role involves key responsibilities across retail operations, including:
- Assisting in the Post Office, Bakery, or Online Order Processing (picking & packing for home delivery).
- Ensuring customers receive excellent, personalized service while supporting store operations.
Your role will directly impact your community by keeping essential services running smoothly and fostering community connections—including local and national charities.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Deliver thoughtful service, resolve issues, and create a positive shopping experience.
- Store Operations: Work in tills, shop floor, and behind the scenes to maintain smooth operations.
- Stock Management: Restock shelves, check prices/dates, and ensure food hygiene compliance (where applicable).
- Co-op Membership: Promote and support memberships to extend community access to Co-op benefits.

Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old (due to shift diversity, including possible early morning/late night hours).
- No formal experience needed but must have:
- A genuine passion for customer service.
- Ability to work flexibly across shifts, including weekends.
- Enthusiasm for retail in a busy environment.
