Location: Whitehead Road, Brighton, BN2 5NS
Pay: £13.04 per hour Contract: 24 hours per week + regular overtime Working Pattern: Closing shifts from mid-afternoon through to late evening, with shifts typically starting around 4:30–6:00 PM. Flexible availability required, including working:
- One weekend shift (Friday after 6 PM, or any shift on Saturday or Sunday)
- Availability across midweek shifts

About the Role
We’re looking for Customer Team Members to join the friendly team at Co-op, playing a key role in delivering essential services in your local store.
As a Customer Team Member, you’ll work in a fast-paced Co-op store, supporting essential services including:
- The post office
- The bakery
- Online order fulfilment (picking and packing)
- Day-to-day customer service
You’ll ensure great experiences for every customer, contribute to stock replenishment, sales, and community engagement, and help promote Co-op Membership.

Responsibilities
Your key duties include:
- Delivering friendly, thoughtful service—putting customers first when issues arise.
- Contributing to store efficiency by working hands-on at till points and shop.
- Maintaining stock levels, price accuracy, and shelf organisation to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, including pricing checks, date accuracy, and temperature control for essential items.
- Promoting Co-op Memberships and community engagement initiatives.
