Customer Team Member – Co-op
Location: 44 High Street, Neyland, SA73 1TF
Pay: £13.04 per hour
Contract: Permanent, part-time (14 hours per week + regular overtime)
Working Pattern:
- Flexible shifts including:
- Early starts (5:45 AM)
- Late finishes (attends until 11 PM)
- Mid-day shifts
- Monday to Sunday with:
- At least 2 evening shifts:
- Friday after 6 PM
- Or Saturday shift
- Or Sunday shift
- At least 2 evening shifts:
🔸 Availability can be discussed further in interview
Key Duties:
- Post Office & store counter assistance
- Stock management, pricing, date checking, and accuracy
- Prompt customer service, including resolving queries
- Online order picking & packing (where applicable)
Training: Full paid training provided – no prior experience required!

- Ensuring customers receive friendly, helpful service
- Maintaining store safety and compliance (e.g. food temperatures, stock checks)

- Acting as a trusted figure, building local connections

What You’ll Do
- Deliver friendly, proactive customer support (e.g. problem-solving, refunds)
- Operate tills, post office counters, and execute daily order processing
- Keep stores organised and well-stocked, checking prices, dates & stock levels
- Assist with bakery, general retail, or online order fulfilment (depending on store)
- Foster a positive shopping environment and encourage member engagement
What You’ll Bring

- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including early late, and weekend shifts
- Retail interest (no experience essential) and a capacity to work as part of a high-energy team
