Customer Team Member

Customer Team Member – Co-op

Location: 44 High Street, Neyland, SA73 1TF

Pay: £13.04 per hour

Contract: Permanent, part-time (14 hours per week + regular overtime)

Working Pattern:

  • Flexible shifts including:
    • Early starts (5:45 AM)
    • Late finishes (attends until 11 PM)
    • Mid-day shifts
    • Monday to Sunday with:
      • At least 2 evening shifts:
        • Friday after 6 PM
        • Or Saturday shift
        • Or Sunday shift

🔸 Availability can be discussed further in interview

Key Duties:

  • Post Office & store counter assistance
  • Stock management, pricing, date checking, and accuracy
  • Prompt customer service, including resolving queries
  • Online order picking & packing (where applicable)

Training: Full paid training provided – no prior experience required!

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver friendly, proactive customer support (e.g. problem-solving, refunds)
  • Operate tills, post office counters, and execute daily order processing
  • Keep stores organised and well-stocked, checking prices, dates & stock levels
  • Assist with bakery, general retail, or online order fulfilment (depending on store)
  • Foster a positive shopping environment and encourage member engagement
