About the Role
We’re looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op, supporting our local stores and helping customers with essential services and valuable products daily.
As a Customer Team Member, you’ll be part of a welcoming, fast-moving team committed to delivering friendly, reliable service to the community. Your duties may include:
- Supporting the post office, bakery, or handling customer orders in-store or via home delivery.
- Creating a seamless shopping experience and ensuring customers feel valued.
- Contributing to the daily running of Co-op’s essential services.

What you'll do
- Deliver friendly, thoughtful service to customers, resolving issues effectively.
- Support store efficiency by working behind the till and assisting at the shop floor.
- Ensure sell-by dates, prices, and stock accuracy, maintaining store policies and compliance.
- Contribute to housekeeping and presentations to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Foster community engagement and promote Co-op Membership.
What you'll bring
- A strong desire to provide friendly, people-focused service.
- Willingness to work across various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and flexible schedules (e.g. Fridays after 6 PM, Saturdays, or Sundays).
- An interest in retail—experience is beneficial but not essential.
