Customer Team Member

Location 1-2 Westbury Centre Westbury Road, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 4LY

Remuneration £13.04 per hour

Contract Details

  • Part-time: 16 hours per week + regular overtime
  • Permanent

Working Pattern A mix of shifts:

  • Opening, mid-day, and closing shifts
  • At least 2 evening shifts (e.g., Friday after 6pm)
  • 1 weekend shift (any Saturday or Sunday) Flexibility discussed at interview.

About the Role

We’re looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op. You’ll play a key role in delivering friendly, helpful service in your local Co-op store.

As part of a fast-moving team, you’ll support essential services—whether in:

  • The post office
  • The bakery
  • Online orders, picking and packing for home delivery

Every day brings variety—your role makes life easier for customers by creating great shopping experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver friendly, thoughtful service to put things right
  • Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly
  • Operate on the shop floor and tills
  • Maintain store performance by:
    • Stocking shelves accurately
    • Checking product dates and pricing
    • Ensuring hygiene and stock safety
  • Promote Co-op Membership and engage with the community
