Customer Team Member
Customer Team Member Location: 244 Stockport Road, Timperley, Altrincham, WA15 7UN Pay: £13.04 per hour Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent part-time

About the Role
As a Customer Team Member, your role involves supporting essential services in your local Co-op store, whether this is working in our post office, bakery, picking and packing orders for online services, or delivering exceptional customer service to deliver a great shopping experience. You'll help keep shelves stocked, assist at the till, and contribute to daily operations—playing a key role in making life easier for Co-op customers and the wider community.

What You’ll Do
- Work as part of a team to provide friendly, helpful service in-store.
- Help maintain operations by stocking shelves, checking dates, and delivering a positive shopping experience.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
- Engage with customers and support Co-op Membership take-up.
- Work across various roles, including till operations, bakery, and post office tasks (as required).

Core Responsibilities: ✅ Deliver exceptional customer service with a customer-first mindset. ✅ Contribute to store preparedness, with responsibilities on the shop floor. ✅ Promote Co-op values through service excellence. ✅ Adhere to operational policies, including food safety, pricing accuracy, and stock management.
Friendly Shifts & Hours
- Permanent part-time: 16 hours/week.
- Flexible schedule: Mix of morning, lunch, and evening shifts (e.g., closing, opening).
- Requirements: Must cover at least 2 evening shifts/week (until 10.15pm) and regular weekend shifts (e.g., Friday evening, Saturday/Sunday as scheduled).
- Your availability may be discussed further during interview—we’re happy to find a schedule that works!
