Customer Team Member
Location: 84 Castle Street, Edgeley, Stockport, SK3 9AL Pay: £13.04 per hour Contract: Permanent, 12 hours per week + regular overtime Working Pattern: • Closing shifts from mid-afternoon to late evening/sundown • Flexible availability across the week, including at least 1 weekend shift per month:
- Either Friday after 6 PM
- Any Saturday shift
- Sunday shift (Availability discussed further at interview.)

About the Role
We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic Customer Team Members to join the Co-op team and deliver exceptional service in your local store. Whether assisting with the post office, bakery, or processing orders for home delivery, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the everyday lives of customers by contributing to a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, helpful service and resolve issues responsibly
- Support the day-to-day operations of the store, working as part of a cohesive team
- Operate on the shop floor and at tills, contributing to customer checkout, stock management, and store aesthetics
- Maintain accurate stock levels, checking dates, pricing, and temperatures to ensure compliance and hygiene
- Promote Co-op membership and engage with the community to amplify your store’s role
Requirements
Essential:
- A genuine passion for customer service
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays
- Willingness to collaborate in a fast-paced retail environment (experience not mandatory)
