Customer Team Member – Home Delivery Driver

Location: 39–53 Main Street, Kilsyth, Glasgow, G65 0AH

Pay: £13.04 per hour

Contract:

  • 16 hours per week + regular overtime
  • Permanent contract
  • Part-time

Working pattern: Varied shifts including:

  • Early mornings (store opening)
  • Afternoons
  • Late evenings (store closing)
  • Weekends (Schedule to be discussed at interview)

About the Role

We’re seeking Home Delivery Drivers to join our friendly team at Co-op. This role involves delivering shopping to customers’ homes while offering flexible support in store.


Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and deliver customers’ orders safely to customers’ doorsteps
  • Conduct daily checks on delivery vehicles to ensure they remain compliant and safe
  • Assist in-store when not delivering, including:
    • Serving customers on the till
    • Restocking shelves
    • Supporting colleagues
  • Introduce and facilitate change within the team
  • Get involved in local activities and community events

Job Requirements

You’ll need to meet the following criteria:

  • Full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years, with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Genuine customer and colleague orientation – warm and empathetic nature
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Problem-solving mindset – adaptable to change with a proactive approach
  • Flexibility – willingness to work a variety of shifts
