Customer Team Member – Home Delivery Driver
Location: Ulverston, Priory Road, Ulverston, LA12 9HR
Pay: £13.04 per hour
Contract: 20 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract (part-time)
Working Pattern: Mix of opening, closing, and mid-day shifts with flexibility across the week, including:
- At least 2 evening shifts (e.g., Friday after 6pm)
- At least 1 weekend shift (Saturdays or Sundays)
Bonus Perk: 30% discount on products in-store
About the Role
Join our team as a Home Delivery Driver and play a key role in delivering friendly, helpful service in your local community.
As a Home Delivery Driver, you’ll:
- Deliver customers’ shopping straight to their doors, helping to make their day easier.
- Support in-store activities like picking, packing orders, and keeping operations running smoothly.
- Take pride in providing reliable, high-quality service to every customer.
Critical Requirement: You must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years (with no more than 6 points).

What You’ll Do
- Deliver orders safely and efficiently, driving considerately while providing friendly customer service.
- Support store operations, including:
- Packing orders
- Serving customers at the till
- Restocking shelves
- Assisting with daily tasks
- Conduct vehicle checks and follow safe working practices.
- Strengthen community ties by promoting Co-op membership through great service.
What You’ll Bring
- A full UK driver’s licence held for at least 3 years (with no more than 6 penalty points).
- A friendly, customer-focused attitude and a passion for helping others.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate as part of a team.
