Customer Team Member

Customer Team Member – Co-op Wilingham

Location

12 High Street, Wilingham, CB24 5ES

Pay & Hours

£13.04 per hour 20 hours per week (permanent contract, part-time) + regular overtime required

Working Pattern

  • Tuesday & Thursday: 2pm – 10pm
  • Sunday: 8am – 2pm (Flexibility to discuss shifts at interview)

About the Role

We’re looking for Customer Team Members to join our friendly, local Co-op team. In this fast-paced store, you’ll play a key role in delivering essential services to your community, whether that’s in:

  • The post office
  • The bakery
  • Online order fulfilment (picking/packing home deliveries)
  • Assisting customers with their needs, big or small

Your day-to-day work will ensure smooth operations, help keep shelves stocked, and create a positive shopping experience. Plus, you’ll help promote Co-op Membership and support local causes.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver first-rate customer service—going the extra mile to help
  • Work effortlessly with your team to keep the store running smoothly
  • Handle till operations and ensure a seamless shopping experience
  • Stock and maintaining shelves, check best-before dates, and ensure accurate stock levels
  • Uphold safety and legal compliance (Jimmy hyperlink not applicable, reference proper labelling and procedures)
  • Promote Co-op Membership and highlight community involvement opportunities
