Customer Team Member
Customer Team Member
Location: Canhams Road, Sudbury, Great Cornard, CO10 0ER Pay: £13.04 per hour Contract: Permanent, part-time (8 hours per week + regular overtime)
Working Pattern
- 6pm–11pm on Tuesday and Saturday
- Any shift between 6am–11pm on Sunday

About the Role
Join the Co-op as a Customer Team Member and play a vital role in delivering friendly, community-focused service in your local store.
As part of a supportive team, you’ll help deliver essential services—whether in the post office, bakery, or supporting online orders—ensuring customers have a seamless and helpful shopping experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and thoughtful customer service, resolving issues as they arise
- Collaborate with the team to maintain store efficiency and operations
- Work on the shop floor and tills, contributing to daily customer experience
- Ensure shelf stocking, price accuracy, and temperature compliance for product safety
- Promote Co-op Membership and engage with the local community
Requirements
- A passion for customer service and helping others
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts and as part of a team
- Interest in retail/shopping environments (no prior experience required)
