About the Role

Location: 21-23 Falconwood Park, Welling, DA16 2PQ Pay: £14.29 per hour (including London allowance) Contract: 18 hours/week + regular overtime, permanent, part-time Schedule: 6 AM–12 PM (including weekends), availability to discuss Training: Full, paid training provided

Join the Co-op community as a Customer Team Member and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service at our Welling store.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide friendly, helpful customer service and resolve any issues with care
  • Work as part of a team to keep the store running smoothly—handling registers, shelving, and general store operations
  • Operate in our in-store bakery and occasionally support post office or home delivery pick/pack tasks
  • Ensure stocking accuracy—keeping shelves stocked, checking prices, dates, expiry, and shelf life
  • Maintain store safety and legal compliance by adhering to Polish food laws and freshness standards
  • Promote Co-op Membership and community initiatives, supporting local/national charities
