Location 60 Bromley Road, Congleton, CW12 1PY
Pay £13.04 per hour
Contract & Hours 8 hours per week + regular overtime Permanent, part-time
Working Pattern A mix of shifts, including:
- Opening, closing, and mid-day shifts
- At least 2 evening shifts (e.g. Friday after 6pm)
- 1 weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) Flexibility across the week—availability discussed at interview.

About the Role
Join the Co-op team in a friendly local store, delivering essential services to the community. As a Customer Team Member, you'll work across multiple areas including:
- Back-to-back / fast-moving store operations
- Post offices
- Assisting with broadening bakery duties
- Handling online orders via picking/packing for home delivery
Your role will play a crucial part in improving customer experiences—whether it’s stocking shelves, manning the till, or helping online shoppers.

Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, thoughtful service, putting things right when mistakes occur.
- Collaborate with your team to maintain store efficiency.
- Perform shop-floor duties including:
- Operating tills
- Shelving stock
- Checking pricing, expiry dates, and stock accuracy.
- Ensure food safety and compliance (e.g. visibility and maintenance of product safety measures).
- Promote Co-op membership for enhanced customer benefits and community options.
