Customer Technical Support

Customer Technical Support Professional – Maidstone, UK

(Full-Time, Onsite)

Job Family: Food Safety Experience Required: 3-5 years in a technical support, quality, customer service, or operational role Remote Type: Onsite

About the Opportunity

At Driscoll’s—the global leader in fresh berries—we deliver only the freshest, highest-quality strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries to consumers worldwide. Now expanding, we seek a Customer Technical Support Specialist to join our Technical team in Maidstone.

You’ll play a critical role in upholding quality standards, enhancing customer relationships, and streamlining technical operations across our supply chain. Collaborating with Technical Account Managers and Industry Leadership, you’ll drive operational efficiency while ensuring growers and retailers receive unparalleled support.

This hands-on, dynamic role blends analytical work, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven problem-solving, enabling continuous improvement across our global berry supply chain.

Responsibilities

In this multifaceted position, you’ll ensure the smooth delivery of technical support across food safety, quality compliance, and customer service. Your key responsibilities may include:

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Assist Technical Account Managers and the Head of Technical Account Management in delivering daily technical activities.
  • Maintain and update technical databases, grower approval systems, and retailer-specific documentation.
  • Coordinate new product sampling programmes (retailer and grower audiences) while ensuring traceability and compliance with regulations.

Quality & Compliance

  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, depot rejections, and quality issues, providing clear, actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with growers and retailers to troubleshoot challenges and maintain production excellence.
  • Produce trend analyses, performance reports, and quality insights for both internal teams and retailer stakeholders.
  • Prepare weekly crop reports, gathering weather data and other operational metrics to track production.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
