Customer & Technical Support Representative

Technical Support Team – SevenRooms at DoorDash

DoorDash’s Customer Experience and Support Ops organization includes the Technical Support Team at SevenRooms, partnering globally with hospitality operators to deliver exceptional customer support. The mission is clear: When guidance is needed or issues arise, knowledgeable, strategic, and empathetic support must be readily available. Whether troubleshooting technical problems, advising product implementation, or guiding value extraction from our platform, our team serves via chat, email, and phone to ensure seamless experiences for merchants.

  • Multiple Full-time Hourly Shifts Available
  • Essential Requirement: Availability for at least one weekend day

About the Role

This role plays a critical part in elevating world-class customer support for hospitality operators worldwide. As part of this team, you’ll:

  • Support customers extensively (email, phone, chat) for prompt, empathetic resolutions.
  • Provide strategic solutions, tailoring setups to help customers maximize their ROI on the SevenRooms platform.
  • Master the SevenRooms platform, developing deep expertise in functionality and client needs.
  • Document resolutions, ensuring thorough issue tracking and clear records.
  • Prioritize effectively, addressing high-impact requests first to meet critical timelines.
  • Utilize internal tools (such as Zendesk, Jira, Salesforce) efficiently for smooth operations.

Profile Assets

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • A collaborative attitude, thriving in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted, long-term customer relationships.
  • Analytical skills, with a fast learner’s attitude toward a rapidly changing SaaS/hospitality tech ecosystem.
  • 1+ years of customer-facing support experience, preferably in B2B, SaaS, hospitality, or role-critical empathy-driven roles.
  • Experience with support-related systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, Salesforce).
