Customer & Technical Support Representative

Technical Support Specialist – SevenRooms

Location: NYC or Remote (with NYC office association)

Schedule: Full-time hourly shifts with at least one weekend day availability required


About the Role

This Technical Support Specialist position will work directly with hospitality operators worldwide, assisting to troubleshoot technical and operational issues, instruct product usage, and strategize to maximize Return on Investment (ROI) for SevenRooms customers.

You’re the right fit for this role if you’ll take pride in:

  • Supporting customers via email, phone, and chat, swiftly resolving inquiries with care
  • Delivering strategic solutions, guiding clients on best practices for SevenRooms platform implementation
  • Mastering the SevenRooms platform, both broadly and customised to client needs
  • Documenting resolutions across interactions
  • Prioritising high-impact requests effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Utilising internal tools (e.g., Zendesk, Jira) efficiently

Key Responsibilities

  • High-touch customer support across email, phone, and live chat
  • Technical problem-solving, from setup questions to platform bugs
  • Strategic guidance on operational enhancements and growth strategies for hospitality partners
  • Building expertise in the SevenRooms CRM and guest experience tools
  • Tracking stakeholders via meticulous issue documentation
  • Ensuring smooth workflows by maintaining tool proficiency and data accuracy
  • Working globally with operators in dynamic schedules (24/7 support model)

Qualifications &Traits We’re Looking For

Ideal candidates will:

  • Excel as a clear communicator, whether verbally, orally, or in writing
  • Bring collaboration and adaptability, thriving in startup or fast-paced environments
  • Exhibit strong follow-through, juggling multiple priorities without sacrificing impact
  • Have proven relationships with high-value B2B or hospitality clients
  • Deliver customer-first service, blending empathy with technical solutions
  • Be analytical problem solvers with technical curiosity, dually interested in SaaS and hospitality tech
  • Have familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g. Zendesk) or CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Have at least one year of customer-facing or strategic account support experience in B2B or services
