The Team
The UK Value Engineering team is responsible for our largest Fortune500 customers and owns their transformation journey by working at the frontier of data and AI integration. Collaborating closely with the Sales team, Value Engineering ensures Celonis’ data & AI platform is strategically deployed, optimally integrated into customers' technology stacks, and delivers strong ROI through impactful, broad deployments.
The Role
As a Senior Value Engineer, you will spearhead our mission of data-driven business transformation. Your role involves:
- Owning the end-to-end value journey for key customers, from landing to expanding, adoption, and renewing.
- Acting as the trusted technology & business advisor, helping organizations achieve their strategic goals and realize significant value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform.
Duties include:
- Translating customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects.
- Assessing where Celonis fits within a customer’s IT landscape and AI strategy.
- Building business cases and detailed demos.
- Facilitating value workshops and engaging senior stakeholders to deliver measurable results.
- Securing long-term partnership agreements.
You will play a dual role: technical and strategic, leveraging strong process and program management skills with consulting expertise.
Responsibilities
Identify & Frame Value
- Discover and translate customer strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases.
- Advise organizations on Celonis’ platform integration with their existing IT landscape and AI strategy.
- Develop demos and business cases, utilizing industry benchmarks and best practices.
- Use SQL/Python to create prototype solutions to effectively communicate the value of Celonis.
- Present value opportunities and strategic roadmaps to C-Level executives.

Realize Value
- Facilitate business value workshops to identify and qualify process enhancement opportunities using Celonis.
- Derive improvement measures in core business processes and initiate value-driving change initiatives.
- Present results and realized value to senior management and executives.
Scale Value
- Oversee the end-to-end customer value journey, including land (onboarding), expanding, adoption, and renewal.
- Build a strategic expansion roadmap to embed Celonis as a core business transformation platform.
- Providefeedback to product development teams to enhance the Celonis platform based on emerging use cases.
Requirements
Technical & Analytical Proficiency
- Strong knowledge of Business Software / SaaS applications (e.g., SAP).
- Hands-on experience with SQL and/or Python.
- Collaborated with IT teams and developed dashboards and automations in tools like PowerBI or RPA.
- Knowledge of AI-powered solutions.
Customer Value Focus
- Experience in analytical roles demonstrating value through:
- Business data analysis or business process improvement.
- Ideally held in roles such as:
- Solution Consulting.
- Sales Engineering.
- IT/Management Consulting with Business Software / SaaS Providers or Consultancies.
- Alternately, Inhouse Centers of Excellence for Data Mining / Analytics / Intelligence.
- Strong background in customer value delivery and strategy.
Process Improvement & Leadership
- Experience in identifying process improvement use cases and deploying solution-driven measures.
- Demonstrates ability to train users and initiate change for value realization.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Proven experience planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines.
- Managing multiple accounts/projects simultaneously with diverse value journey stages.
- Engages partners from the Celonis Ecosystem as needed.
- Experienced in communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and executives, both internally and externally.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Sector & Industry Expertise
- Understanding of Finance or Supply Chain domains and capability for strategic transformation projects (e.g., Shared Services).
- Preferably industry expertise in sectors like:
- Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals.
Education
- Degree or equivalent in:
- Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics.
