Role Details

As part of the existing Customs team, you will be responsible for generating the necessary customs documents for orders from the UK to IE in line with current EU regulations, ensuring all paperwork is completed within the required timeframe. Working in close collaboration with the warehouses in the UK and Danone factories in Europe, this role will ensure there is no disruption to stock being received into the warehouses and customer orders being received in Ireland. In addition to this, you will also ensure the correct documents are being sent from our brokers and process any follow up requests or amendments to documents.

Role Responsibilities

  • Track and monitor all shipments from the EU and create supplementary shipments for the factories
  • Create customs documents for shipments from UK to Ireland
  • Create customs documents from the E
  • Work with factories and customs brokers to ensure all relevant paperwork is sent correct and on time
  • Work with the warehouse team to ensure all paperwork (including health certificates) is sent over correct and on time
  • This role will require shift work and working bank holidays on a rotational basis in line with the rest of the customs team

Salary Range

£28,000-£32,000

About You

  • Systems orientated, with experience of SAP preferential
  • Skilled with Microsoft excel
  • Conscientious, strong attention to detail and confident to point out and correct errors
  • Plans in a systemic, logical way and highly organized with ability to multitask
  • Initiative to improve processes and find efficiencies
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally but equally able to work individually.
  • Results driven and able to work under pressure
  • Takes responsibility and can display resilience when confronted with issues and failures
  • Proactive and willing to learn
