MacGregor Black is partnering with a Logistics business on the search for a Customs Logistics Lead. This is a perm role based in Leicester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all customs import and export operations.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and international trade requirements.
- Manage customs declarations, commodity codes and import/export documentation.
- Oversee bonded warehouse and customs procedures.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers and internal stakeholders.
- Support customs audits and maintain accurate records.
- Drive continuous improvement across customs and logistics processes.

What We're Looking For:


Get help with your application
Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
- Proven experience in Customs, International Trade or Logistics.
- Strong knowledge of UK customs regulations and customs compliance.
- Experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with bonded warehouses and customs systems is highly desirable.
Salary - Circa £38k + benefits.
