Customs Coordinator
Location: Heathrow
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
A leading freight forwarder in Slough is looking for an experienced Customs Coordinator to join their growing operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with freight forwarding and customs experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate European road freight import shipments
- Complete customs clearances and import documentation
- Liaise with customers, overseas agents, hauliers, and customs authorities
- Monitor shipments and provide customer updates
- Resolve operational and customs issues efficiently
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and internal procedures

Requirements
- Previous freight forwarding or customs clearance experience
- Knowledge of road freight imports and CDS customs entries
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments in a busy environment
- Experience with systems such as Cargosoft, ASM Sequoia, or similar preferred
