Cut Packhouse Operative – Runcton

Salary: £26,832.00 per year / £12.90 per hour Contract: Full-time

About the Role

Are you motivated, reliable and eager to join a fast-paced team in a growing food manufacturing environment? We’re looking for Cut Packhouse Operatives to join our Operations team in Runcton, helping us deliver high-quality fresh herbs to our customers daily.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills in a supportive environment and be part of a team committed to quality, efficiency, and safety.


🌱 Responsibilities

As a Cut Packhouse Operative, you’ll contribute directly to production lines by:

  • Grading, weighing, and packing herbs to the highest standards
  • Ensuring all customer orders are completed on time
  • Adhering to food safety, health & safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
  • Setting up and assisting with the production line during your shift
  • Checking labels, weights, seals, and pack quality
  • Reporting any issues to your Line Leader, Machine Operator, or Shift Manager
  • Maintaining cleanliness through "clean as you go" principles
  • Accurately completing all online recording requirements
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects on site
  • Motivating and encouraging fellow team members
  • Participating in ongoing training and development

  • Previous food manufacturing experience
