The salary range for this position is $35,000 – $40,000.
About the Role
The Cutter Operator operates and maintains pressroom paper-cutting equipment, ensuring materials are trimmed and prepared according to production needs. This role includes performing equipment maintenance and operating a forklift/lift truck for material transport within the facility.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up paper-cutting equipment following job specifications
- Cut, trim, and prepare paper stock and printed materials for production and bindery
- Perform preventative maintenance, including blade changes, lubrication, and machine cleaning
- Operate forklift and lift trucks to move pallets of materials
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow written procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies
- Complete other tasks as assigned

Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Knowledge of paper cutter operation and maintenance
- Familiarity with bindery equipment and printing operations (a plus)
- Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions in writing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to become proficient in all aspects of the role within 90 days
- Forklift experience preferred
Employment Classification
- FLSA Status: Non-exempt (eligible for overtime)
