We’re hiring on behalf of a leading organisation in a highly regulated, safety-critical environment. They are expanding their second-line cyber assurance function and have permanent, hybrid roles available at multiple levels – all based in Warrington (2 days on-site per week).
All roles require SC eligibility/clearance (UK residency for at least 5 years).
What you’ll be doing:
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver assurance activities across IT, OT, technical architecture, and supply chain
- Conduct control testing, evidence reviews, and thematic assessments
- Identify control gaps, support remediation, and track findings to closure
- Produce assurance reports, dashboards, and metrics for stakeholders up to senior leadership
- Collaborate with engineering, ICT, and supply chain teams to validate controls
- Contribute to regulatory and audit readiness
- At Team Lead level: Own the risk-based assurance strategy, lead a team of assurance professionals, and engage with regulators and internal audit

What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in cyber assurance, audit, risk management, or control testing within a regulated environment
- Knowledge of frameworks such as NCSC CAF, ISO 27001, NIST CSF
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Relevant certifications (CISA, ISO27001 Auditor, CISSP, etc.) – working towards also considered
- For Team Lead: Experience managing teams, scaling assurance functions, and reporting to senior stakeholders
