Cyber Information Assurance Manager

Location: Any Accenture UK location

Career Level: Level 8 – Associate Manager

Please Note: Any offer of employment is subject to satisfactory BPSS and SC security clearance which requires 5 years continuous UK address history (typically including no periods of 30 consecutive days or more spent outside of the UK) at the point of application.

As a team:

An exciting opportunity for Information Assurance specialists who are looking to drive governance, risk and compliance capabilities forward and aid in the development of new and improved Cybersecurity services. As a senior Consultant, you will be recognised as a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for strategic decision-making and expected to lead complex assurance projects. You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of expertise and take a hands-on leadership role in implementing and managing information security projects.

In our team you will learn how to:

  • Adapt quickly to new circumstances. This requires multiple different assurance goals – including legislation, regulation, standards and frameworks
  • Use your knowledge to identify real-world security risks and help stakeholders understand the best options they have available
  • Have a hands-on and consultative approach to assurance
  • Gain experience in operational assurance in a business context
  • Have been a subject matter expert in security management with a broad understanding of other cyber security domains – including architecture, engineering and operations
  • Have service delivery and project management experience and it is desirable that you will have experience with Agile delivery methods and DevOps models

As an Information Assurance Manager, you will:

  • Identify and analyse cyber security risks by adopting various methodologies and providing advice to risk owners
  • Conduct assurance reviews against multiple standards-based compliance requirements
  • Undertake Privacy Impact Assessments
  • Manage assurance lifecycle processes within operational environments
  • Produce assurance evidence and reports for stakeholders
  • Production and implementation of cyber security policies
  • Evaluate security incidents and develop trend analysis
  • Provide guidance on meeting security related statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Development and delivery of security awareness campaigns

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Familiarity with major Cloud technologies working experience of at least one major PaaS provider – such as Azure or AWS
  • A natural collaborator with a genuine desire to help your team achieve a common goal
  • Knowledgeable when it comes to industry standards and good practice for information security risk working experience of ISO standards
  • An understanding of designing security management systems
  • Experience with threat and vulnerability management systems
  • Assessment of security control designs and configurations for effectiveness in risk mitigation

  • Manage the delivery of security assurance services for projects
  • Analyse security industry trends and risks associated with new technologies
