What You’ll Do

As the Cyber Portfolio and Governance Analyst, you will join the Cyber Agile Portfolio Management team and play a key role in enabling the Cyber leadership team and wider stakeholders to work effectively together while reducing risk across Vodafone.

You will work closely with stakeholders across Cyber Security to bring structure, visibility, and alignment to key priorities. Acting as a central point of coordination, you will translate complex information into clear reporting, communications, and governance outputs that support informed decision-making, effective prioritisation, and delivery across the Cyber portfolio.

You will partner with one or more Cyber functions to provide insight, governance, and operational support across financial management and reporting, resource planning, and portfolio oversight.

The role requires strong commercial awareness, a continuous improvement mindset, and a proactive approach to supporting teams in a complex and evolving Technology environment. You will also build a strong understanding of the Cyber landscape to provide effective, informed support across the portfolio.

With a particular focus on finance and resource management, portfolio governance, executive reporting, stakeholder engagement, and communications, this role plays an important part in maintaining oversight, driving alignment, and supporting the successful delivery of Cyber priorities.

  • Support the Cyber budget squad in budget planning and in-year financial management activities across Cyber
  • Produce internal Cyber finance materials, including briefings and presentation packs, tailored to the audience and business context
  • Provide budget support across Cyber teams to maintain financial visibility, control, and alignment
  • Manage resource planning across Cyber teams, covering both onshore and offshore resources
  • Plan, lead, and communicate Cyber portfolio governance ceremonies, including Portfolio Review, PI Planning, DB Business Planning, and reviews with VOIS
  • Coordinate reporting cycles and ensure deadlines are met consistently across deliverables
  • Manage meetings effectively by ensuring agendas and preparation are in place, time is used efficiently, and actions and next steps are captured, communicated clearly, and assigned to accountable owners
  • Lead ad hoc programmes and initiatives arising during the year that require coordination across Cyber teams

Who You Are

  • Proactive and analytical approach to planning and risk management
  • Experience in forecasting and budgeting; SAP knowledge would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships, navigate confidently across functions and levels, and establish trust and credibility
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage tight timescales
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Global mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures
  • Ability to understand issues at both operational and strategic levels and influence stakeholders to take action
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, preferably SAFe
  • Experience applying process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma
  • Ability to prepare high-quality materials, with strong PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
  • Experience using Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel and Azure DevOps
