Role: Digital Safety Risk and Assurance Specialist
Join easyJet’s Digital Safety team, responsible for shaping how cyber security risk is managed across one of Europe’s leading airlines. The Team
You will join a talented team of cyber security professionals dedicated to embedding Digital Safety into easyJet’s culture, mirroring the focus on Aircraft Safety. The team collaborates closely with:

Key Responsibilities
As a Digital Safety Risk and Assurance Specialist, you’ll take a leadership role in developing and executing our cyber risk management framework. Key tasks include:
- Operating the Digital Safety risk framework to assess, record, and monitor cyber risks.
- Partnering with technical and business teams to capture and evaluate risk information.
- Managing supplier assurance activities, including supply chain risk identification.
- Supporting regulatory compliance by identifying potential gaps and partnering with teams to address them.
- Contributing to data governance activities and driving improvements.
- Collaborating with IT Quality and Risk teams to align risk management activities.
- Presenting findings and recommendations to governance/risk forums at all levels.
- Providing guidance, training, and support on risk methodologies to colleagues company-wide.
- Maintaining risk registers for information assets and documenting risk exceptions.
- Developing and maintaining bow-tie risk models, as well as supporting control effectiveness assessments.
- Conducting quantitative risk analysis, including statistical modelling (e.g., Monte Carlo analysis).
- Monitoring the cyber threat landscape and assessing its impact on organisational risk.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
- Relevant experience in cyber security, information security, or risk management (equivalent roles also considered).
- Strong analytical skills, enabling you to interpret and communicate risk accurately.
- Ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including technical and non-technical teams.
- Confidence in managing multiple priorities and navigating complex, dynamic challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- A collaborative mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing.
- Understanding of cyber security risk frameworks, governance, and assurance principles.
- Awareness of regulatory compliance, supplier risk, and data governance concepts.

Desirable Qualifications
- CRISC or equivalent risk management qualification.
- CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or a related cyber security certification.
- Relevant information security or industry qualifications.
