About The Role

We are seeking motivated and dedicated Cyber Security Trainers to join our dynamic team. As a Cyber Security Trainer at Newto Training, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, instructor-led online training sessions to aspiring professionals. Your role will involve designing curriculum content that aligns with industry standards, facilitating hands-on exercises, and mentoring learners throughout their journey to becoming certified cyber security specialists. You will play a vital part in preparing students for real-world challenges by providing practical insights and guidance, ensuring they gain the confidence and skills required to succeed in the competitive cyber security landscape. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who are passionate about education and technology to make a meaningful impact on learners' careers while staying at the forefront of industry developments.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Cyber Security, with relevant industry certifications and practical experience. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in security operations, network security, or ethical hacking will be advantageous. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences. Prior experience in online or classroom training is desirable, and familiarity with industry-recognised certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA Security+, and CySA+ will be beneficial. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for teaching, continuous learning, and a commitment to empowering others to succeed in their careers.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive, engaging online training sessions covering core cybersecurity concepts and practical skills.
  • Develop and update training materials, including presentations, exercises, and assessments, to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Guide learners through hands-on projects that simulate real-world cybersecurity challenges, fostering problem-solving skills.
  • Mentor students individually and in groups, providing constructive feedback and support throughout their learning journey.
  • Prepare students for industry-recognised certifications by aligning training content with exam requirements.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in cybersecurity to incorporate emerging trends and technologies into training modules.
  • Collaborate with industry partners and internal teams to improve training programs and ensure alignment with employment opportunities.
  • Participate in assessment and evaluation processes to monitor learner progress and program effectiveness.
