Cyber Security Analyst - New Role
£40k - £50k plus benefits.
A leading organisation requires a Cyber Security Analyst to join its growing Cyber Security function. Duties will include:
- Leading cyber incident response - from detection through to recovery
- Acting as an escalation point for analysts and supporting service delivery
- Reviewing and validating vulnerabilities, ensuring risks are properly understood and managed
- Producing clear, insightful reporting for customers and senior stakeholders
- Working with our SOC provider to ensure alerts and threats are effectively handled
- Developing and improving cyber response plans and runbooks
- Supporting governance activities
- Providing expert input into projects, tooling, and security architecture
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members

Suitable candidates will have the following:
- Experience in cyber security within a complex or multi-tenant environment
- Strong incident response and security operations experience
- Confidence working with tools such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Qualys or Tenable
- A solid understanding of vulnerability management and risk frameworks
- The ability to translate technical risks into clear, business-focused language
- Experience supporting or mentoring others within a team
- A calm, analytical approach; especially under pressure
