The Role

We’re looking for a Cyber Security Analyst – Tier 1 to join our Security Operations Centre (SOC) team.

The role involves monitoring and responding to cybersecurity incidents, analyzing threats, and contributing to strengthening security posture for our customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, networking, and threat detection who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Use SIEM tools (e.g., QRadar, Azure Sentinel, Elastic SIEM) to monitor and analyze security alerts, triage incidents, and investigate breaches.
  • Handle and escalate security incidents effectively, ensuring swift resolution with minimal impact.
  • Address security-related queries, escalate critical issues, and provide expert guidance to customers.
  • Maintain clear records of incidents, actions taken, and resolutions, aligning with company protocols.
  • Assist in tuning security measures, developing use cases, and enhancing detection capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to improve security protocols and incident response.
  • Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, new attack techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure security requirements are understood and properly implemented.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
