About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Security Analyst to join our client's dynamic Technology team. This hybrid role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a professional services organization committed to maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity. As a Security Analyst, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the company's technological infrastructure against emerging cyber threats. You will work closely with a team of cybersecurity professionals, utilizing modern security tools and technologies to monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents effectively. Your contributions will directly influence the organization’s security posture, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and critical systems. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in Security Operations or Cyber Security who are eager to develop their expertise in a collaborative environment that values innovation and continuous learning.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in Security Operations, Cyber Security, or Information Security environments. A strong understanding of security principles, incident response, and threat mitigation is essential. Candidates should possess familiarity with enterprise security tools and frameworks, along with a passion for staying updated on the latest cyber threats. Professional certifications such as CompTIA CySA+, Security+, or Microsoft Security Operations certifications are advantageous but not mandatory. A proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly are also important qualities for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate security alerts across the organization to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Respond promptly to cybersecurity incidents, supporting remediation efforts to minimize impact and prevent recurrence.
- Manage and optimize security tools, including Microsoft Defender and other enterprise security platforms, to ensure maximum efficacy.
- Support vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements.
- Assist with the implementation of new security technologies and enhancements to existing systems.
- Develop, review, and maintain security policies, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and effective security governance.
- Provide technical guidance and training to colleagues on security processes, tools, and emerging threats.
- Stay informed about the latest cyber threats, attack techniques, and industry trends, and recommend strategic security improvements accordingly.
