Cyber Security Architect
Cybersecurity Compliance and Product Security Lead
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading cybersecurity certification and compliance activities across product and software portfolios to support regulatory requirements and market access.
- Evaluating security maturity and aligning product risks with applicable frameworks such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act and IEC standards.
- Guiding the implementation of secure product development practices, including:
- Secure architecture design
- Encryption standards
- Embedded system protections
- Conducting risk assessments, threat modelling, and vulnerability testing across hardware, firmware, and software environments.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to:
- Communicate risks effectively
- Design secure solutions
- Prioritise remediation actions
- Supporting the development and execution of:
- Vulnerability management processes
- Incident response frameworks, including PSIRT (Product Security Incident Response Team)
- Driving secure lifecycle integration, including:
- Software bill of materials (SBOM)
- Monitoring and reporting practices
- Staying current with emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and regulatory updates to inform continuous improvement initiatives.

Who You Are (Core Traits & Skills)

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Strong background in cybersecurity architecture, risk assessment, and secure product development practices.
- Expertise in industry standards and frameworks, including:
- IEC 62443
- NIST standards
- Regulatory cybersecurity requirements
- Hands-on experience in:
- Leading threat modelling
- Vulnerability management
- Security architecture design
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and collaboration skills with experience working across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and organisational capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Experience)
- Advanced degree in:
- Computer science
- Engineering
- Related technical fields (or equivalent practical experience)
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP or similar.
- Experience supporting compliance with the EU Cyber Resilience Act or comparable regulatory frameworks.
- Background in:
- Embedded systems
- Industrial environment security
- Secure hardware/software integration
- Prior experience developing:
- Enterprise-wide security architectures
- Guidance documentation for cybersecurity initiatives
