Cyber Security Architect

Chief Information Security Officer (Cybersecurity Architecture Lead)

About the Role

In this transformational leadership position, your responsibilities will span:

  • Lead cybersecurity certification and compliance activities across product and software portfolios, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and market access
  • Evaluate security maturity and align product risks with applicable frameworks such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act and IEC standards
  • Guide the adoption of secure product development practices, including secure architecture, encryption, and embedded system protections
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, threat modelling, and vulnerability testing across:
    • Hardware
    • Firmware
    • Software environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to:
    • Communicate risks effectively
    • Develop tailored security solutions
    • Prioritise remediation actions
  • Support the establishment and execution of:
    • Vulnerability management processes
    • Incident response frameworks (including PSIRT)
  • Embed secure lifecycle integration across:
    • Software Bill of Materials (SBOM)
    • Monitoring practices
    • Reporting standards
  • Maintain strategic awareness of emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to drive continuous improvement

Distinguished Qualifications (Not Essential but Valuable)

  • Advanced academic credentials in:
    • Computer science
    • Engineering

  • Relevant certifications such as: CISSP or equivalent
  • Experience navigating EU Cyber Resilience Act or similar regulatory frameworks
  • Domain expertise in:
    • Embedded systems
    • Industrial control environments
    • Secure hardware/software integration challenges

    • Developing comprehensive security guidance documentation
