⚠️ Security Clearance Requirement Note: This role only remains available to candidates who either hold or can obtain a UK Security Clearance. You’ll work on-site in Basingstoke, 5 days per week.


About the Role

Join a collaborative team of over 280 professionals, delivering 360° security services to clients at the forefront of government, defence, healthcare, utilities, banking and financial services.

Your role: Define and advance how organisations securely operate, balancing creative insight with strict operational control. Tackle complex security challenges, shifting from threat response to proactive business problem-solving. Assess security risks across business, technology and operations, leveraging threat intelligence to strengthen systems resilience and client trust. Shape policies and procedures that build a full security view of your clients’ most critical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop cyber security policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee data protection and privacy compliance, applying security and governance frameworks.
  • Manage security-related change and incident response, operationalising plans during disruptions.
  • Advise clients on business continuity and resilience strategies.
  • Analyse networks, core infrastructure and systems architectures, identifying vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of cyber security standards, e.g., ISO 27001, (UK NCSC) CAF, Cyber Essentials, NIST.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven expertise in cyber security standards/processes, including ISO 27001, (NCSC) CAF, Cyber Essentials, NIST (or their equivalents).
  • Experience in:
    • Cyber policy and procedures development
    • Data protection & privacy compliance
    • Security change & incident management
    • Resilience, business continuity and incident response
    • Networks, infrastructure and core systems

  • Professional certifications such as: CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
